Can NY Rehab help me?

Every day hundreds of patients walk through our front doors, and then walk out a few minutes later with a wide smile stretching from ear to ear. That's for one simple reason- we treat our patients right. Whatever the ailment might be, NY Rehab's doctors and technicians have probably seen it before, and know how to provide the kind of treatment that's going to get you moving along the road to recovery, fast. Our internists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, physiatrists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and physical therapists, will put their heads together and leave no stone unturned in finding and executing a solution to your problem.

Will my insurance cover treatment?

We accept most health insurance plans, Medicare, Workers' Compensation Insurance, and No Fault Insurance. After your first visit, we will call your insurance and find out your benefits. We will give you a written summary of your benefits with an estimated co-payment amount, if you have one. Accepted insurances include:

What if I don’t have insurance?

Uninsured patients have the option of our very affordable payment plans. We also accept Workers' Comp and No Fault patients.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You have two options. First, you can call one of our offices for an appointment. You can call us directly at 888.851.HURT (4878) in Astoria, Queens or 516.872.3100 in Valley Stream, Nassau County. What should I bring with me?

What should I wear to my appointments?

Wear comfortable clothing. If you have a problem of your cervical spine, upper back or shoulders, our office will provide you with a gown as needed to expose the area. If you have a lower extremity problem, we provide shorts.

What languages does your staff speak?

Our staff speaks a variety of languages including Spanish, Greek, Hindi, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Romanian, Hebrew, Tagalog, Italian, and Polish.

How long until I feel better?

This varies for everyone who receives treatment. Many factors are involved including proper rest and nutrition, positive attitude, and severity of the problem. Many patients will feel an improvement immediately, but others may take some time. We do our best to get our patients feeling better as soon as possible.

Can I continue to work while receiving care?

Sure, but it depends on the type of work you do (referring to how physically stressful it is) and your symptoms. If you are totally or partially disabled the doctors will inform you of your status and ability to work.

Do you treat work and auto accident victims?

Yes we do! Our patients often have injuries as a result of a work or auto accident. These are covered by Workers' Compensation or No Fault. We also work closely with your insurance company and case managers to ensure you receive the best care.
